The main objective of this paper was to know how to improve the quality of performance of extension personnel in Fayoum Governorate Under the current economic changes. The level of performance of extension personnel and their evaluation of their level befor and after current economic changes and the effect of their characteristics on their level of performance were examined. The study was carried out on sample of 80 extension personnel in Fayoum Governorate. Data were collected by means of personal interview using a questionnaire form prepared for this purpose. Correlation and Stepwise multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. Results showed that changes have occurred in extension tasks and the level of performance of sample members has improved. Requirements needed to improve the level of performance of extension personnel determined. The professional relationship < br />between respondents and their official leaders ad their exposure to information sources were found to be the most significant factors affecting their level of performance.
