Abstract

This study aims to identify the causes of the reluctance of farmers for the
voluntary delivery of wheat, showing the behavior of farmers toward distribution
of wheat yield (delivering - sale to the trader - storage - consumption), realizing
the most important factors that encourage farmers to delivering their wheat. The
results showed that the ratio of delivery amounted to about 34.22% of the total
domestic production of wheat at the level of the republic and the relative
distribution vary in the different governorates during the period (1995-2008).Also
results showed that the percent of delivering in the sample under study rich about
29.6%, also about 66.5% of the sample prefer selling to the merchant. Also results
showed that those who plant more than 3 feddans are the most who deliver more
as the average delivering reach 7.8% ardeb/feddan follow the those who plant
from 1to 3 feddan where the average delivering reach 4.1 ardeb/feddan. So these
study recommended the following: encouraging the farmers by developing and
incentive bonus increases with the increasing of the size of the developing,
sending a representative of the bank to receive the wheat farmer's fields,
providing the requirement of production and bay them in cash money and
regarding the amounts delivered. Simplifying the procedures of delivering of
wheat and extend the period of receipt of wheat from farmers and traders as it is
the short.
