CONSUMPTION OF SOME TYPES BREAD IN SOME RURAL AREA OF BENI SEUF GOVERNORATE AND SOME FACTORS AFFECTED IT.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the pattern of consumption of some types
of bread (i.e. subsidized bread, Balady bread made at home, Betaw) at some
rural areas in Beni seuf Governorate also effect of some socioeconomic factors
affecting this pattern of consumption was studied (i.e. educational status,
Income and family size).
Results of the study showed that consumption of subsidized bread come
in the first rank, followed by Balady bread, meanwhile Betaw come in the last
category. Results of socioeconomic factor affecting consumption of bread
showed that income come in the first category followed by family size and the
educational status come in the last rank.
As for loss results showed that loss in subsidized bread come in the first
rank and it used for bird and animal feed.
The study results showed that many families has private ovens at home
to produced Balady bread, and some families have private ovens at home to
produced Betaw.
So, the studies recommend the following: encouraging the people of this
area to reach the flour easily. Establishing common ovens to be used by
families of this area to made bread.
